No championships have been claimed as the historic Busti oval prepares for Free Admission Night.

BUSTI, N.Y. — If you are looking for high-stakes championship drama, Stateline Speedway is the place to be this Saturday night. Entering the regular-season finale, not a single division title has been officially clinched. The double-points finale will be paired with the highly anticipated “Free Night” promotion, offering fans free grandstand admission, backpack giveaways, and concession specials as the championship battles are settled on the dirt.

Super Late Models Darrell Bossard controls his own destiny, but just barely. Five drivers enter the night separated by only 68 points. To guarantee the track championship, Bossard must win the feature and pick up at least four points in his heat race. Jason Genco sits directly in the catbird seat, trailing by just 18 points; a max-points sweep (heat and feature win) by Genco would make him mathematically untouchable by Bossard. Greg Oakes (-19) needs to sweep the night and get minor help from the leaders to steal the crown. Bob Dorman and Kyle Bedell (-44) remain mathematically alive but will need disastrous runs from Bossard, Genco, and Oakes to execute a miracle comeback.

RUSH Late Models Legendary veteran Randy Hall will have to earn his championship against a pair of hungry young drivers. While a feature victory will lock up the title for Hall, Jake Wilber is positioned to steal the crown if he can park it in victory lane. Ian Travis is also in the hunt, needing a max-points night coupled with finishes in the back half of the field for both Hall and Wilber.

UMP Modifieds Greg Johnson has one of the clearest paths to a championship: a finish of fifth or better in the feature secures the title. However, a sixth-place or worse finish combined with a poor heat race opens the door for Andrew Beatman, provided Beatman sweeps both events. CJ Ramsey and Zach Johnson are still mathematically eligible but would require catastrophic nights from both Greg Johnson and Beatman to factor into the title fight.

RUSH Pro Mods The RUSH Pro Mod division has been wildly unpredictable, with half the active roster claiming feature wins this year. Entering Saturday, veteran Al Brewer—boasting over 50 years of racing experience—leads the standings. Brewer needs a feature win, or a second-place finish paired with a heat win, to clinch. It is no easy task, as Victor Earle Jr., Cody Vanguilder, Dave Shagla Jr., and Josh Wilcox are all waiting to pounce. For any of the challengers to win the title, they need a max-points sweep and require Brewer to finish outside the top five.

Pro Stocks The Pro Stock division has evolved into a heavy-hitting rivalry between Jason Covey and John Boardman. Covey’s return to the class has been dominant, and a feature win on Saturday will lock Boardman out of the championship. Conversely, if Boardman sweeps the night, he can steal the title by a minimum margin of four points.

RUSH Stock Cars The youth-driven RUSH Stock Car division promises an exciting finale. Points leader Cole Strickland needs a third-place finish and a heat race victory to lock up the championship. Challengers Alex Bush and Raidden Wilson both require Strickland to finish fourth or worse, while simultaneously needing to win the feature themselves to snatch the title.

Challengers Holden Heineman has been an unstoppable force in the Challenger ranks, building a nearly insurmountable lead. Heineman has the easiest task of any contender on the property: he simply needs to finish 16th or better to clinch the championship. Pete Volpe and Annaleesa Diabo will need a massive stroke of luck to pull off the upset; they both must score max points and hope Heineman suffers a disastrous finish of 17th or worse.
