With rain hammering Hartford, OH, for the past three days, and weather models showing it will continue during the week, Sharon Speedway and Super DIRTcar Series officials have agreed to cancel Wednesday’s Steel Valley 75. The decision to cancel is being made today in the best interests of the teams and fans who would be traveling long distances.

If you purchased a ticket in advance, you will receive a face-value credit to your MyDirtTickets.com account — good for two years — to be used toward any World Racing Group ticketed event available. If a credit to your account does not work for you, then you have until Sept. 10, 2026, to request a refund. Anyone who purchased patio seats through Sharon Speedway will be refunded.

The Super DIRTcar Series now turns its attention to one of the biggest showcases of the year for the Big Block Modifieds — SummerFAST. The four-race New York speedweek brings the biggest names in the sport to four fan-favorite tracks across the state. The road trip starts at Weedsport Speedway for the Hall of Fame 100 on Sunday, Aug. 16, then ventures to Brewerton Speedway on Monday, Aug. 17, Land of Legends Raceway on Tuesday, Aug. 18, and Utica-Rome Speedway on Wednesday, Aug. 19 — where the 2026 SummerFASTchampion will be crowned.
