Michaels Mercer raceway cancelled for Aug 8.

As cars were heading to the track for hot laps on a hot sunny August night after autograph night ended mother nature decided to roll in the clouds and dump enough rain to cancel the evening evenings activities. It is the tracks ninth rain out of the 75th anniversary season.
Rain checks will be good for the remaining regular show shows of the year not including any special that is over $20 admission.
Coming up next will be Thursday, August 13 as the annual Ryder memorial for the BRP modified tour will present a 35 lap event in honor of Rick and his son Bob Ryder paying as of now $4018 to win, hoping for some of the DIRTcar modified drivers that will be competing at Sharon on Wednesday night will stay over one more night to race at Mercer. Also on the card will be the top shelf trucking dirt 602 crate sportsman modifieds and the first appearance of the year of the mod lites. more information will be forthcoming on the event in a few days.
