RACEWAY 7 SEES HENRY, LONGWELL, ELLER, ENGLISH, AND HULL ALL PICK UP WINS ON RACEWAY 7’s NOSTALGIC 80’s NIGHT!

CLOSE RACING SUPPLY RACE REPORT:

Monroe Center, OH (July 17, 2026) By Marc Hoegerl: The northern forest fires would not damper a great night of racing as fans would witness features going down to the wire on Raceway 7’s themed 80’s night.

Reigning track champ Billy Henry would have to fend off a side-by-side dual with Breyton Santee and a late race challenge by Cory Sines to pick up Raceway 7’s Evergreen Lake Park Campground’s RUSH Crate Late Model feature, as well as his second feature triumph of the season at Raceway 7. Following the Crawford County native across the line would be Sines, Santee, former winner Jeff Watson and Jacob Peterson.

Hubbard, Ohio’s Colton Longwell would get his first taste of victory in the Campbell’s Mini Storage UMP Modified feature. Longwell was in a different area code most of the event, grabbing his first ever feature win in the class at the famed Ashtabula County oval. 2025 champ Josh McDonald would move around Nate Young in the closing laps to secure 2nd, Young was 3rd, New York native Mason Lobb was 4th, and 11th place starter Dustin DeMattia would round out the top 5.

Two time winner already in 2026 Zack Eller would have his hands full most of the 15 lap Lakeview Ford Econo Mod feature event, but when the smoke cleared it would once again be Eller parking the familiar 99E in victory lane, recording his third Raceway 7 Lakeview Ford Econo Mod feature win of the season. Albion’s Dennis Lunger would come home a close 2nd, 2025 track champion Jake Eucker was 3rd, Austintown’s George Vestal was 4th, and former winner Garrett Calvert would round out the top 5.

Todd English would make the 2 and 1/2 hour tow to Raceway 7 worthwhile, picking up his second Nicky B’s Truck & RV Collision RUSH Sportsman Modified feature win of 26’at the Monroe Township oval. Following the Clearfield County wheelman across the checkereds would be last time out winner Kole Holden, and Nolan Burns.

Former asphalt racing standout Steve Hull would take no time getting to the front and go uncontested to pick up his first ever Raceway 7 feature win in the newly formed 21st Century Energy Crown Vic division. Following the elated Hull across the stripe would be Conneaut’s Steve Horvath, opening nights winner Branden Porter, Jefferson’s John Kish, and local racer Chris Brockway.
