🌧️ Friday at Sharon Speedway is rained out 🌧️

Due to the thunderstorms impacting the Hartford, OH area throughout the afternoon on Friday, along with the potential for more rain in the evening, officials from the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision and Sharon Speedway have agreed to cancel Friday’s portion of the Battle at the Border.

The decision was made in consultation with Precision Weather Service with the safety and best interest of race fans and teams in mind. Friday’s event will not be made up, but Saturday’s race remains on as scheduled.

If you purchased a ticket in advance, you will receive a face-value credit to your MyDirtTickets.com account – good for two years – to be used toward any World of Outlaws event available at worldofoutlaws.com/tix. If a credit to your account does not work for you, then you have until Aug. 10 to request a refund.

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision will return to action at Sharon Speedway on Saturday, July 11, for a 60-lap, $20,000-to-win, main event. Grandstand gates will open at 2 p.m., followed by an autograph session in the midway at 5 p.m. and Hot Laps at 7 p.m.
