BUSTI, N.Y. — Stateline Speedway has canceled its scheduled Opening Night for this Saturday due to inclement weather and saturated grounds, marking the facility’s second weather-related cancellation of the season.

The track’s 70th season opener, which features a seven-class racing program, is now scheduled for Saturday, May 2.

Ahead of the opener, the speedway will host an open practice for all racing divisions on Friday, May 1. Pit gates will open at 5 p.m., with the green flag dropping for on-track activity from 7 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Track officials highly encourage drivers to attend the practice session to acclimate to recent upgrades made to the racing surface.

Grandstand admission for Friday’s practice is free to the public. Grandstand gates will open at 6 p.m., and concession stands will be open throughout the evening.
