Wilber, Skinner, Putt, Harvey, Bidwell, and Wiser all visit victory lane on Fan Appreciation Night at Bradford Speedway.

REW, Pa. — A record-breaking car count under the Isadore family’s sophomore year of ownership highlighted a spectacular “Fan Appreciation Night” at Bradford Speedway. Beautiful weather and a lightning-fast racing surface set the stage for a thrilling evening filled with fantastic racing and first-time winners at the “Home of Action for the Twin Tiers.”

UMP Modifieds The headline performance of the night belonged to the young driver known as “The Iceman,” Andrew Hammond. In just shy over a year in the UMP Modified ranks, Hammond capitalized on his outside pole starting position to secure his first career feature victory. He faced relentless pressure from Ian Degolier and Josh Canfield, who had successfully navigated their way past local standouts Greg and Zach Johnson to reach the leader. Degolier mounted massive runs on the high line, while Canfield utilized the bottom groove that previously earned him his first win. True to his nickname, Hammond refused to crack under the intense pressure, holding off both challengers to park his No. 68 machine in victory lane.

RUSH Late Models Jake Wilber returned to his winning ways in the RUSH Late Model division, driving a spectacular race from the fourth starting position. Wilber navigated past Bradford Speedway aces Ward Shell and pole-sitter Jacob Tubbs to mount a challenge on race leader Kurt Stebbins. Utilizing his signature exciting driving style, Wilber executed thrilling maneuvers through traffic and patiently waited for Stebbins to make a late-race mistake. When the opportunity presented itself, Wilber pounced, making the pass to seal the feature victory.

Sharp Mini Late Models Damien Bidwell captured his first career Sharp Mini Late Model feature win after surviving a chaotic and dramatic main event. Bidwell initially dueled with Jesse Isadore and Terry Mealy for the top spot. However, heartbreak struck coming to the checkered flag when Mealy and Oakley Terrill made contact while battling for the runner-up position. The collision sent Terrill tumbling; fortunately, the driver emerged from the car uninjured. The incident set up a high-stakes one-lap shootout, where Bidwell successfully fended off a final challenge from Isadore to secure the win. Tyler Carlson earned hard charger honors, marching from his ninth-place starting spot to finish an impressive third.

SCDRA Mini Stocks After a rare week off from victory lane, Trever Putt re-established his dominance in the SCDRA Mini Stock ranks. Starting from the ninth position, Putt clawed his way to the front, engaging in a fierce, side-by-side battle with Brett Hanley, who had charged from fifth. Putt ultimately prevailed, adding another win to his collection in a season where he has won all but one feature at the speedway.

Pure Stocks Joe Skinner continued his recent stranglehold on the Pure Stock division, securing another feature victory. Skinner engaged in a nose-to-tail battle with last week’s winner, Tim Schram. Lap after lap, Schram filled Skinner’s rearview mirror and applied heavy bumper pressure, but Skinner hit his marks flawlessly to deny the pass and claim the checkered flag.

Kids Mini Stocks Karson Harvey returned to victory lane in the Kids Mini Stock division, continuing his ongoing on-track rivalry with Chase Tidd to pick up the hard-fought win.

Crown Vics Kyle Wiser collected his fourth victory in six starts this season in the Crown Vic class. Despite starting at the tail of the field due to the pre-race invert, Wiser systematically carved through the pack and out-dueled Shaun Tidd to secure the feature win.

Upcoming Schedule Bradford Speedway continues its racing action on Sunday, July 26. The program will be headlined by the RUSH Late Models, alongside a full card of weekly favorite divisions.
