This Saturday night, dirt racing history comes back to life at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.
The inaugural Don Gamble Silver Cup debuts at Dirt’s Monster Half Mile, bringing together the past and present of Western Pennsylvania racing for one special night under the lights.
This event honors the life and legacy of Don Gamble, one of the region’s most respected voices, historians, storytellers, and ambassadors of short-track racing.
And the best part?
Fans will not just hear about racing history.
They will get to see it.
The Vintage Modifieds and Vintage Late Models return to PPMS, bringing classic body styles, old-school horsepower, and the unmistakable feel of dirt racing’s earlier eras back to the track.
If you grew up around these cars, this night will bring back memories.
If you have never seen them before, this is your chance.
The night also features plenty of modern racing action, including the BRP Modified Tour and a full card of weekly divisions.
Presented alongside the Decades of Dirt Facebook group and held in conjunction with Twin State Auto Racing Club Night, this is more than another Saturday race night.
It is a celebration of the people, cars, stories, and history that helped build Western Pennsylvania dirt racing.
