Due to forecasted cold temperatures this weekend, Stateline Speedway is canceling both Friday night’s practice and Saturday’s scheduled opening day.
Instead, the track will host a single practice session on Saturday afternoon. Pit gates will open at 11 a.m. with a $25 admission fee, and grandstand admission is free with gates opening at noon. Cars will take to the track at 1 p.m., and the session will run until approximately 5 or 6 p.m., depending on the car count. The pit and New York concession stands will be open for fans and drivers, with plenty of hot chocolate and coffee available.
Stateline will now turn its attention to the ninth annual Bill Law Memorial for its season opener. All seven track classes will be in attendance, headlined by the RUSH Late Model Touring Series.
The local divisions competing will include the Super Late Models, Outlaw Modifieds, RUSH Pro Mods, Pro Stocks, RUSH Stock Cars and Challengers.
For the upcoming Bill Law Memorial, pit gates will open at 4 p.m., followed by the grandstands at 5 p.m. Racing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
