Elkins Speedway Announces Return to a mix of Friday and Saturday Nights for 2026 Season

Elkins, WV — Elkins Speedway is heading back to its roots in 2026 with a mix of Friday and Saturday night racing. The track will roll out a packed schedule featuring DirtCar Super Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Pro Late Models, Street Stocks, Hot Mods/Sport Mods, along with the All Star Mini Wedges.

The season opens with practice on April 24 before the official kickoff on May 1. From there, fans can expect a strong mix of weekly racing, special events, and marquee shows that highlight the best regional talent.

Major nights include the Modified Mafia’s return on May 22, the Street Stock Special on June 5, and Mid Season Championship Night on June 26. July brings even more heat with the All Star Crate Series racing for four thousand to win on July 3 along with fireworks and another Modified Mafia appearance. The Hot Mod/Sport Mod Special follows on July 10, and the popular Old School Night and Wall of Legends takes over Saturday, July 25!

August continues the momentum with the Stout Memorial on August 14 and the Season Championship on August 28. September includes an off weekend for the Hillbilly, then a two track weekend on September 18 and 19 with Elkins and WVMS. The year closes with the Forest Festival weekend on October 2 and 3.
