Monroe Center, OH (Sept 6, 2025) By Marc Hoegerl: For the third consecutive season “The Wizard” Dave Hess Jr. would crush the field leading the entire distance in the 35 lap $5,000 to win Super Late Models portion of the 8th annual September Shootout at Raceway 7. Hess would cross the line 12.280 seconds in front of 2nd place finisher Jared Miley. Ripley, New York’s Mike Knight would bring home 3rd; Eric Wilson in his Warrior Chassis would end up 4th, as Alex Ferre in the Cochran Automotive #1 would round out the top 5.

Not to be denied, Fowler’s Jake Eucker would lead flag to-flag in the Raceway 7’s Lakeview Ford Econo Mods portion of the September Shootout. This would be Eucker’s 8th Raceway 7 Lakeview Ford Econo Mod feature win of the season. With the win, Eucker has now become the all-time feature winner in the class at the famed Monroe Township oval. Rounding out your top 5 be, Zack Eller, Jeremy Double, Brendan Warner, and Dennis Lunger.

Previous Weeks winner Jake Hull would inherit the lead on lap 11 , as race leader and former champ Brian McGarvie would lose a wheel in turn 2. Hull would lead the remaining 3 laps to pick up the feature win in the 21st Century Energy Mini Stocks portion of the 8th annual September Shootout. Following the Concord, Ohio native across the stripe would be, Mike Barr, Billi Jo Huffman, Will Schmid, and Ben Aley.

Amelia Clay would lead from start to finish in the first ever appearance of the newly Crown Vic class at Raceway 7, for her first ever Raceway 7 feature triumph.
