HENRY, YOUNG, EUCKER, WOLBERT, AND HULL ALL CASH IN ON RACEWAY 7’s CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT!

Monroe Center, OH (Aug 29, 2025) By Marc Hoegerl: It was Championship Night at Raceway , closing out the Ashtabula County, Ohio speed plants 56th regular season of racing. 2025 points champions crowned were, Billy Henry (RUSH Crate Late Models), Josh McDonald (UMP Modifieds), Jake Eucker (Econo Mods), Chas Wolbert (RUSH Modifieds), Zach Downes (Mini Stocks.)
French Creek Valley native Billy Henry would inherit the lead on lap 10 when early race leader Breyton Santee would come to a stop in turn 2. Henry would lead the remaining 10 laps, picking up his 5th Evergreen Lake Park Campground RUSH Crate Late Models feature win of the season, securing the 2025 championship crown. Bud Watson would come home 2nd, Novelty, Ohio’s Logan Stockdale was 3rd, Breyton Santee would come from the tail to finish 4th, as Will Pinckney would round out the top 5.
“The Northcoast Nightmare” Nate Young would out muscle race leader Eric Reinwald on lap 14, leading the remaining 6 laps unscathed to pick up his 3rd Raceway 7 Campbell’s Mini Storage UMP Modifieds feature win of the season. 2025 points champion Josh McDonald would finish 2nd, Eric Reinwald would settle for 3rd, Allen Atkinson was 4th, and Joel Watson would round out your top 5.
The word that comes to mind when you think of Fowler’s Jake Eucker is unstoppable. Eucker would go on to dominate the 15 lap Lakeview Ford Econo Mods a-main, picking up win #7 on the season, now tying Eucker with Brandon Blackshear on Raceway 7’s Lakeview Ford Econo Mods all-time feature win list, with 19 wins. Zack Eller, Coelton Longwell, Bryson Hill, and Garrett Calvert would round out the top 5
.
2025 points titleist Chas Wolbert would lead flag to-flag in Raceway 7’s Bonnell’s Truck & RV RUSH Modifieds feature, cashing in on feature win #6 of the season. Kole Holden who is Wolbert’s only blemish on the season finished 2nd, Poland’s Doug Rutana was 3rd, Jake Rutana after bringing out an early race caution was 4th, and Grove City, PA’s Caden Petry was 5th.
After some previous week misfortunes, Jacob Hull would bring it all together, snatching the lead from 2022, 2023 track champion Brian McGarvie on lap 4 of the 12 lap main event to snag his 1st ever Raceway 7 21st Century Energy Mini Stock career feature win. Following the Concord, Ohio resident across the line would be, Zoey Gill, Joe Campbell, Alexis Vogt, and 2025 points champ Zach Downes.
Don’t forget next Saturday evening September 6th will be Raceway 7’s 8th Annual September Shootout featuring the ground pounding Super Late Models with their $5,000 win headliner. Rain date will be held the following day Sunday, September 7th if needed.
