Saturday August 23rd Results:

It was another great evening of racing at Midvale Speedway, filled with side-by-side battles, dramatic finishes, and plenty of excitement for fans of all ages. A huge thank you goes out to SSB Community Bank for their continued support and for partnering with us on the always-popular Kids Gold Rush, which brought smiles and excitement to the next generation of race fans. Their partnership helps make nights like these possible, and we’re proud to have them as part of the Midvale Speedway family.


Bandolero:

Bensyn Feister jumped out early and set sail for his 4th victory of 2025. The young Jeffrey Elkins kept him in sight the entire race, refusing to let him pull away.

T&G Sealcoating Crown Vics:

Kyle Grewell and Larry Ennis Jr. started on the front row, with Kyle taking the early lead. Mason Grewell quickly looked to the inside of Ennis Jr. for second. On lap 3, Ennis Jr. edged ahead to take the top spot by inches. As Ennis Jr. began to pull away, Mason slipped under Kyle to grab second. Kyle started fading back as Jason Grewell, Nate Smart, and Kyler Grewell all worked their way past him. Mason kept the pressure on Ennis Jr. for the lead, but coming off turn four, the Ennis Hauling #209 of Larry Ennis Jr. got sideways and still managed to grab the double checkered flags for the win. Mason Grewell, Jason Grewell, Nate Smart, and Kyler Grewell rounded out the top five.

South Philly Pizza Compacts:

An invert of 12 set the field for the next feature, with Delmar Clark and Nic Peebles starting on the front row. Peebles battled hard on the outside as multiple drivers charged forward, but Clark and Peebles ran side by side for several laps. Behind them, Rich Dunlap, Josh Irwin, Austin Bethards, Kaeden Scott, and Troy Beatty were all locked in a tight battle. The first caution came out for Ryan Tedesco and Brayden Furby, after Furby wasn’t clear and made contact. On the restart, Clark and Peebles led the field back to green, but a quick yellow flew as leaders didn’t slow enough to allow the field to catch up. On the next attempt, Clark got out front with Josh Irwin slotting into second. Peebles dropped to fifth, and contact came soon after when Beatty locked up the brakes and clipped Peebles. Both saved it, but Leslie had nowhere to go and suffered damage. Back to green, Clark and Peebles battled again, but trouble struck on the backstretch when Kaeden Scott went up in smoke. On the restart, Clark and Rich Dunlap made up the front row, but the initial attempt was called back for Dunlap jumping early. On the next try, Clark got a good launch, but Dunlap powered past him off turn two to take the lead. Wes Ennis began making a strong charge to the front, bringing Gavin Roup with him. When the double checkered flags waved, it was the Quaker Drive-Thru / Shreffler Tuning #36 of Rich Dunlap, scoring his 2nd win of 2025. Rounding out the top five were Wes Ennis, Gavin Roup, Nic Peebles, and Brentin Irwin.

The second Compact feature went flag to flag without a single caution. Starting ninth, Damion Andrews patiently worked his way through the field before taking command up front. Midway through the race, there was contact between Nic Goebeler and Ray Belt off turn two. Belt took a wild ride through the infield but managed to rejoin the race a lap later. Clayton Oliver, driving his fourth different ride of 2025, began making steady progress toward the leaders but came up just short. At the double checkered flags, it was the Nicholes Creations, Krazy Wayne Inc #42 of Damion Andrews picking up the win, followed by Nic Goebeler, Clayton Oliver, Scott Whitten, and Zac Terry.

Burkett Nester Modifieds:

Brandon France and Trey Williams started on the front row, with France jumping out to an early lead before Williams battled back on the outside. Chuck Elkins III dove under France to take second, and Phil Cox followed him through to grab third. Darilson and Will Walker rounded out the top five as France slid back into the second groove.Cox turned up the pressure on Elkins III for second, making his move underneath to take the spot. Trouble struck on turn four when France spun on his own, bringing out the first caution. On the restart, Williams and Cox lined up side by side. Williams pushed up off the bottom while Cox ran high, and as Cox came down, he and Elkins III made contact. Another caution flew moments later when Passwaters spun in turn four. This time, Williams and Rick Elkins Jr. were on the front row. Williams got the jump, but Elkins Jr. battled back hard. As they entered turns three and four, Williams drifted up the track and made contact, bringing out yet another caution. After regrouping the field, Williams grabbed the early advantage again, but Elkins Jr. found plenty of room on the outside and powered around to take the lead, with Kevin McClintock following into second. Cox moved high and made a strong push for third. At the double checkered flags, it was the Ron Ruegg Automotive / Uptowne Grill #51 of Rick Elkins Jr. taking the win. Rounding out the top five were Kevin McClintock, Phil Cox, Conrad Yoder, and Will Walker.

McIntosh Oil Company Late Models:

For the next feature, Brendan Lushes and AP Ren set the front row for 30 laps. Lushes got a strong start as Ren battled back on the inside. The first caution came when Reitter got into Jaberg in turn three. After the restart, a quick yellow waved again when Riddle nearly spun but managed to save it. Back to green, Lushes got another good jump as Riddle looked to the inside of Ren for second. Andrew Smart also made a move to the outside of Reitter to grab third. Debris on the front stretch brought out another caution, setting up a battle between Lushes and Riddle on the restart. Lushes got the early advantage, but Riddle powered off turn two to take the lead. Smart quickly followed Riddle into second, keeping him in sight. Trouble developed for Lushes as he fell off the pace with mechanical issues, ending his charge to the front. Another caution flew when Haney (#77) spun in turn two. On the restart, Riddle and Reitter led the field, with Riddle pulling away as Bob Page followed close behind. The drama continued when Page tried to look low under Reitter, but Reitter came down from the second groove in turns three and four, causing contact and bringing out yet another yellow. For the final restart, Riddle and Page lined up side by side. Page got the better launch and cleared Riddle off turn two. Smart powered around the outside of Riddle to take over second. At the double checkered flags, it was the Buckeye Pheasant / Shaw Welding #67 of Bob Page capturing the victory. Finishing behind him were Andrew Smart, Cody Jaberg, Bob Schneider Jr., and Jesse Adams.

O’Reilly Auto Parts Sport Trucks:

Jake Beavers and Nolan Caldwell led the field to green, with Beavers jumping out to an early lead. Eddie McLean worked the inside of Caldwell to take over second and immediately began looking for a way under Beavers, waiting for the door to open.
The caution flag flew when Mark Lushes made contact while looking inside Bob Johnson for fourth, causing a brief slowdown. On the restart, it was Beavers and McLean on the front row. Beavers got a great launch, while McLean tried to battle back on the inside but couldn’t quite get alongside.Off turn four, under the double checkered flags, it was the Caliber Mechanical Services LLC / Bunker Hill Fabrications #17 of Jake Beavers scoring the win. Rounding out the top five were Eddie McLean, Nolan Caldwell, Mark Lushes, and Bob Johnson.

Wayne Dalton Sales & Service Street Stocks:

Vinnie Tantarelli and Jason Grewell set the pace for 20 laps, with Tantarelli pulling out to an early lead. From fourth, Hughes began charging forward, while Ambrose and Nate Smart powered around the outside of Gary Hoopingarner to take over fourth and fifth. In turn three, Ambrose dove inside Hughes and the two made contact, but both saved it as the race stayed green. Ambrose then turned his attention to Grewell for second, looking high and low. Smart slipped to the inside of Ambrose as the battle heated up, while Ian Porco pressured Hughes for fifth. The first caution came when Cody Kahler got into the back of Hoopingarner off turn four. On the restart, Tantarelli and Grewell again brought the field to green. The pack went three rows deep, two wide into turn one, but Hughes drifted up the track, causing Carte to spin and bringing out another yellow. Hughes then came to pit road, leaking fluid into turn one. That set up a restart with Tantarelli and Ambrose on the front row. Vinnie pulled ahead briefly, but Ambrose stayed right to his outside. Smart looked under Ambrose while Tantarelli tried to hold the high side. Coming off turn four, Tantarelli got a little sideways, and Ambrose gave a tap to the bumper, sending him across Smart’s nose. That set up a final-lap shootout between Tantarelli and Smart. With momentum on the outside, Nate Smart surged into the lead. Off turn four, under the double checkered flags, it was the Bear Electric, Father Time–sponsored #17 of Nate Smart taking the win. Rounding out the top five were Vinnie Tantarelli, Jason Grewell, Cody Kahler, and Ian Porco.
