Raceway 7 would once again be blessed with
delightful late summer weather, as well as another night of action-packed racing, etching night #6 of the
season in the books at Raceway 7.
CLOSE RACING SUPPLY RACE REPORT:
It was a night of redemption for Saegertown, PA’s Billy Henry, after two straight weeks of late race
heartbreaks. Henry would lead all the way in the 20 lap Evergreen Park Lake Campground RUSH Crate
Late Models feature, for his 4 th feature win of the year at Raceway 7. Following “The Conneautville
Crusher” across the line would be, 2014, 2017 points champ Kyle Zimmerman in 2 nd , Jeff Watson with
his best run of the season was 3 rd , Eriez/Stateline standout Jason Gernco was 4 th , as 2024 Raceway 7
feature winner Ashton Briggs was 5 th .
“The Northcoast Nitemare” Nate Young would bring it all together to pick up feature win #2 of 2025 in
Raceway 7’s Campbell’s Mini Storage UMP Open Wheel Modifieds. This would also be the Painesville
natives 18 th career feature win in the division at Raceway 7, making Young 8 th on Raceway 7’s
Campbell’s Mini Storage UMP Open Wheel Modifieds all-time feature win list. 2018 champ Troy
Johnson would come home in the bridesmaid spot, Josh McDonald who was closing in on Young late in
the race would jump the cushion in turn 2, having to settle for 3 rd . Multi champ Joel Watson was 4 th , as
Meadville, PA’s Allen Atkinson with another fine run was 5 th .
There’s no doubt why Jake Eucker has the nickname “Kid Smooth” The Trumbull County Ohio native,
after starting in the 10 th spot, would real in and overhaul Tyson Hill coming out of turn 2 on the final lap
to grab his 6 th Raceway 7 Lakeview Ford Econo Mod feature triumph of the 2025 racing campaign, in
thrilling fashion. The 15 lapper could be dubbed Raceway 7’s race of the year with its dramatic finish.
Eucker, now only stands 1 win away from tying the divisions all-time feature winner at Raceway 7,
Brandon Blackshear. Following Eucker across the stripe would be, Bryson Hill, Zack Eller, Garrett
Calvert, and George Vestal.
This would be the evening where the last of the unbeatens would fall. Warren County, PA’s Kole Holden
would put Chas Wolbert’s unbeaten streak in feature competition at Raceway 7 to rest. Holden would
grab the lead from a fading Rob Kristyak with 3 laps to go to pick up his 1 st Raceway 7 Bonnell’s Truck
& RV RUSH Modified feature win of the season. Wolbert after an early race spin would charge his way
from the tail to finish 2 nd , Jake Rutana was 3 rd , early race leader Rob Kristyak was 4 th , as Todd English
with another fine outing was 5 th .
Zach Downes would show once again why he’s the man to beat in the 21 st Century Mini Stocks at
Raceway 7. Downes would muscle the lead from opening nights feature winner Devin Haefke on lap 5,
cruising the remaining 7 laps to pick up his 4 th Raceway 7 21 st Century Mini Stock feature win of 2025.
With the win Downe’s surpasses, John Boyd Jr, and Jim Hyde to become the division all-time feature
winner at Raceway 7, with his 24 th feature victory. Alexis Vogt was 2 nd , 2022, 2023 champ Brian
McGarvie was 3 rd , Mike Barr with another consistent finish was 4 th , and Greenville, PA’s Mike Aley
would round out your top 5.
