FAMILIAR FACES PARK THEMSELVES IN RACEWAY 7’S VICTORY LANE!
CLOSE RACING SUPPLY RACE REPORT:
Monroe Center, OH (Aug. 15, 2025) By Marc Hoegerl: Raceway 7 was blessed with its third consecutive week of alluring weather, as well as another fan pleasing night of action-packed racing.
As of late, it has been the Henry and Santee show in Raceway 7’s Evergreen Park Lake Campground RUSH Crate Late Models division. Like déjà vu, last week’s winner Breyton Santee would muscle the lead from race leader Billy Henry with five laps to go to pick up his second Raceway 7 Evergreen Park Lake Campground RUSH Crate Late Model feature win of the season. Henry would have to settle for the bridesmaid spot, Bud Watson with his best finish of the season was 3rd, Will Pinckney with a stellar outing was 4th, as Logan Stockdale, bagging another top 5 was 5th.
Cranesville, PA’s Josh McDonald showed that last week’s feature triumph in the Campbell’s Mini Storage UMP Open Wheel Modifeds was no fluke. McDonald would overtake leader Joel Watson on lap 13, cruising the remaining 7 laps to pick up his second consecutive Campbell’s Mini Storage UMP Open Wheel Modifieds feature win of the season. Nate Young would end up 2nd, 3.368 seconds behind the eventual winner, Watson was 3rd, as Percy McDonald and Alan Atkinson would round out the events top 5.
Trumbull County, Ohio’s, Jake Eucker would once again show his dominance in the Lakeview Ford Econo Mod ranks. Eucker would go flag-to flag in Raceway 7’s Lakeview Ford Econo Mods a-main, picking up his 5th feature win of the season, making it four in a row now at Raceway 7. With the win Eucker remains only two feature wins away from tying the all-time feature winner in the division at Raceway 7, Brandon Blackshear.
Following Eucker across the stripe would be 2024 champ Garrett Calvert finishing 2nd; Bryson “The Thrill Hill” with another fine run finished 3rd, Zack Eller was 4th, with Bristolville’s Jeremy Double completing the top 5.
Warren’s, Chas Wolbert would once again blister the competition in the Bonnell’s Truck & RV RUSH Modifieds. Wolbert would extend his unbeaten streak in feature competition at Raceway 7, picking up feature win #5 on the season. Wolbert has a chance to be the only racer in tracks history to go unbeaten in feature competition, during a season, with only two regular nights of racing remaining.
Youngster Karston King had his best career Raceway 7 run, finishing 2nd, third generation racer Jackson Kristyak was 3rd, Nolan Burns came home 4th, with Greenville, PA’s, Troy Pinch finishing out the top 5.
Zach Downes would once again show he’s the man to beat in Raceway 7’s 21st Century Mini Stocks. Downes would grab the lead from former track champ Brian McGarvie with two lap remaining to bag his third Raceway 7 21s Century Mini Stock feature accolade of 2025. Following the veteran wheelman Downes across the line would be, McGarvie, Mike Barr, Will Schmid, and Ben Aley.
